05 Hire
I'll audit one thing you've shipped, free.
Tell me what you are building and where you think it leaks. If the project interests me I go through it properly and send the audit to your inbox. I choose which ones I take, I do not promise a date, and what you send stays yours. Those limits are spelled out at the bottom rather than discovered afterwards.
Pick what it is.
They overlap, so each says what actually gets looked at, and 3 of them name a pack from the toolkit, which means you can read the instrument before you decide whether to write.
Tell me two things.
Nothing on this page is sent anywhere. The button opens your own mail client with the letter already written, and you send it, which is why there is no consent box to tick and nothing of yours sitting on a server of mine.
No mail client? The address is contact@sshlg.me, and everything above is what the letter needs to say.
What free costs you.
- I choose
- Not every request gets one. I take the projects I want to spend a day inside, and saying so here is cheaper than saying it by not replying.
- No date
- I am not promising a turnaround. A date I miss is worse than no date, and I would rather you plan without me than around me.
- It stays yours
- What you send stays between us. If an audit turns up something other people should know, I will say that an audit found it and what kind of thing it was, never the finding, never your product, never your name. If you would rather I said nothing at all, write that in the email and that is the end of it.
- Free means free
- There is no invoice at the end and no obligation either way. It is honestly a door into the paid work in section 05, and sometimes it stays a door nobody walks through, which is fine.
The two paid engagements are on the home page, and what happens to an email once it reaches me is in the privacy note.
